Hi to Everyone,

Summer went by quickly and we are all settling in to our family routines. It was a lean summer (as it always seems) for Kids First. We were able to help some families with the basics. Most of our requests were for food.

We had a possible fundraiser but unfortunately the company had to call it off last minute. Luckliy they still were able to help us with some back to school supplies. We had a few children that a school counselor told us had NOTHING for school so we were able to help. Thanks!

We would like to take this newsletter to ask all our you to please make a point of  supporting some businesses who NEVER let us down.

• North State Storage  at 8438 Indepence 704-323-5191 www.northstatestorage.com     They provide us with free storage for all the bikes donated at Christmas and the many other donations while we find families to give them to.
• The Pizza Peel  at 4422 Colwick in the Cotswold area   704-714-8808      Kelly is always happy to donate food without hesitating. Their pizza is wonderful!

By spending your dollars at businesses that help us to help kids, we feel we are all creating a beautiful community that pays the good forward.

We will be in touch soon about Christmas. Yes - Christmas! it's closing in and we feel we will have even more families to help this year.
